WELCOME TO THE DIGITAL WORLD OF MAIDEN | MOTHER | WHORE
We invite you to explore the space and immerse yourself in the experience of each of our installations as if you were in a museum or art gallery, engaging with the art and ideas presented.
You can interact with the installations as much as you feel comfortable. Thank you for joining us in this journey, where we invite you to become part of the creative process.
In this sharing, we present five installations. You will find a description for each section, allowing you to decide how much and in what way you would like to engage with each experience.
The first step of this virtual journey is an interactive experience where we invite you to join us as we play the 'Arroz con Leche' game. You can also engage just as an observer if you wish to do so.

Before we get into the deep and the dark,
want to play a game with us?
As a pivotal part of our exhibition, the Postcard Library invites you to become an active participant in this choreographic journey. It’s a simple process that you can follow at your own pace.
The first step is to explore the library of postcards above and select the image (or images) that resonates with you most. By clicking on a postcard, you’ll be taken to a new page where the image expands for closer viewing, and you’ll find a box beside it for sharing your response. Your contribution can take any form—a word, a sentence, a quote, a memory—whatever comes to mind and feels meaningful to share.
We will intertwine your expressions into our creative responses ('Minor Acts'), as we have done since the beginning of this process in 2020. Your contribution will join the collection, akin to the postcards from our past interactions.

This project emerged from a desire to initiate a dynamic dialogue between the arts and academia. Our reading corner offers insight into our collaborative process with the Centre for Biomedicine Self and Society at the University of Edinburgh and the materials we engaged with throughout our research and development journey. Please feel free to browse through the reading and visual materials that have shaped our creative exploration.

We are working hard to make the resources accessible (outside of paywalls) so keep an eye on this space for more resources to be added.
A movement performance delving into the depths of intersectionality and power dynamics. This piece challenges the notion of reducing identities to mere surface-level differences and urges us to examine the underlying ideologies and oppressive mechanisms that shape our society.
Join us as audience in this exploration of human complexity.
If you are interested in engaging with the texts, books and articles that have inspired Intersections, you can find our all details in the Reading Corner. You can also email us any reading suggestions by submitting the details via our contact form.
